Meanwhile, Adonis Georgiadis is busy performing a political exorcism. He blames the 'PASOK occupation' of the 80s for our current digital lag. How convenient! It is the classic maneuver of the sophist: when you cannot explain why the present is a mess, blame a ghost from forty years ago. We are told that the 'Green Sun' blocked the silicon chips of the past, while today’s 'Blue Sky' will supposedly rain down GPUs and prosperity. But look closer at what they are actually building. Is it an AI revolution for the citizens, or a new playground for the oligarchs?
The €3.2 billion 'bet' with Blackstone isn’t about Greek innovation; it’s about real estate and energy consumption. They call it 'Digital Eco Symmetry,' but I call it the colonization of our power grid. While the government talks about 'Algorithmic Precision' in management, the reality for the average worker is what I call the Digital Panopticon. We aren't being 'optimized'; we are being surveilled. The 'Management Metamorphosis' they praise is simply the replacement of a human boss with a heartless equation that doesn't care if you need to breathe, as long as the data packets flow.

We are told that AI will end 'gut instinct' in management. I say, give me the gut instinct of a human over the cold calculation of an algorithm any day. At least a human can feel shame. An algorithm only knows how to maximize. And right now, the only thing being maximized in Greece is the gap between the 'visionary' rhetoric of the elite and the precarious reality of the people. Are we building a Silicon Parthenon, or just a more high-tech barrel for us to live in?
